Camp Taiwan runs a North American-style residential summer camp at its campsite in Wanli, New Taipei. Campers stay six days and five nights. Core activities include rock climbing, the giant swing, archery, crafts, sports, cooperative games, ecology and river tracing, with zip line and high ropes as well.
The camp is run in English: instructions, songs, activities and games. The camp says it is not an English school; English is simply the language of camp. Campers who already understand basic English get the most out of it. Counselors are usually university-aged and come from many countries, and half the staff are native Chinese speakers.
Youth Camp is for ages 7 to 12, grouped with children of similar age. Teen Camp (ages 13 to 16) runs at the same time, with leadership and teamwork exercises, and teens may join extras such as ocean kayaking and bigger river tracing when the schedule and conditions allow.
Registration
Six 2027 summer sessions are published, from July 5 to August 21, all marked Not yet open when we checked on October 15, 2026. The camp says regular enrollment is not open yet and to check back after Chinese New Year for its early-bird sale. Registration is online on the camp website.

Prices are public: NT$24,000 (youth) or NT$26,000 (teen) for a 6-day, 5-night session in 2027. Group prices are NT$23,000/22,000/21,000 (youth) and NT$25,000/24,000/23,000 (teen) for 2 to 5, 6 to 10, and 11 or more campers.
Some charges are non-refundable once you register. Read the camp notice and the Parent Handbook before you book.
Most campers sleep in platform safari tents with wooden floors, electricity and beds, 4 to 6 campers per tent, with counselors in the neighboring tent. A registered nurse is on site during camp.
Buses run from Taipei; parents drop off and pick up there. Phones and other electronic devices are not allowed, and parents cannot call campers during the week.
The separate Mandarin Camp had no 2027 dates when we checked on October 15, 2026 (listed as to be determined). Family camp weekends run on the same site in spring and fall.
