CIO Maker School is a project-based STEAM program in Taipei, offered to visiting families through Sky Kids. Children aged 7 to 12 work on hands-on maker projects in small groups, with one teacher for every four students. Kindergarten children aged 5 to 6 can also join.
All camps are taught in Mandarin. Sky Kids describes its Taiwan camps as weekly theme-based programs for overseas students visiting Taiwan during the school year.
In summer 2026 the camp ran weekly from June 8 to August 7 with three themes, including a mechanical castle and a kart-building week. For the coming months, Sky Kids lists two Christmas-break weeks (December 21 to 25 and December 28 to January 1) pairing maker mornings with Nono Mandarin afternoons, a full-day week planned for January 25 to 29, and spring weeks from March 29 to April 2 and April 5 to 9, 2027. Summer 2027 runs weekly from June 7 to August 7, with content to be finalized; Sky Kids says the summer schedule will be ready by January.
Registration
You apply first with the Sky Kids registration form. Sky Kids reviews your child's background and language level, checks spaces and then confirms by email with a payment link. Your spot is secured once payment is received. Bookings are non-refundable unless Sky Kids cancels; a missed day can be made up later if space allows.
