Overview
Little Mandarin Masters (華語小大師) is a kids' Mandarin camp run by NTNU's School of Continuing Education, a different unit from the Mandarin Training Center that runs the NTNU Mandarin Summer Camp. It is for children aged 6 to 12 who are interested in learning Mandarin and Chinese culture. Students 13 and over are pointed to a separate program, the Amazing Formosa Mandarin Study Tour.
A winter camp is taking applications now. Session 1 runs December 21 to 31, 2026 (no class on December 25) and session 2 runs January 4 to 15, 2027, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 16:00. Each session costs NT$37,000 plus a NT$1,000 registration fee, with NT$2,000 off per session if tuition is paid before October 31, 2026.
In summer 2026 the camp ran three 3-week sessions (June 15 to July 3, July 6 to 24 and July 27 to August 14) at NT$52,000 per session plus NT$1,000. Days mixed immersion Mandarin classes with AI learning tools, culture classes such as Chinese yo-yo, dough figurines and fan painting, creative workshops and field trips. Summer 2027 dates were not published when we checked on October 15, 2026.
Registration
Apply through the online form on the program site, then pay online by credit card in NT dollars; a place is confirmed only after payment. For the winter camp, NT$2,000 comes off each session if tuition is paid before October 31, 2026. The same NT$2,000 discount applies instead to returning students, two sessions booked together or groups of five or more; discounts cannot be combined.
