Overview
Jasmine Garden Education (茉莉花園新創教育) runs two kinds of winter camps in Taipei. AXC (美式生活教育營) camps are day camps on the campus of National Taipei University of Education (國立臺北教育大學), where foreign teachers lead projects and tasks in English. NOLA (戶外與冒險教育) camps take children out into the real world; this winter that means one rail adventure around greater Taipei.
Winter 2027 has three sessions. The AXC Minecraft build workshop (Jan 21 to 22, grades 1 to 5) is two days of building with paper and real materials, not a computer game or a coding class. The AXC magic workshop (Jan 25 to 29, grades 1 to 4) is five days running a small make-believe society: making things, earning pay and working things out with others. The NOLA rail adventure (Jan 25 to 29, grade 3 to the first year of junior high) is five days traveling by Taiwan Railway and on foot, with one night away on day 4 in the Ruifang area.
In AXC, a foreign teaching assistant and a local teacher support each class, and children may use Chinese and English with each other: it is not English-only, and there is no English level test. Each AXC day includes a sports class. On the rail adventure, children help read timetables, buy tickets and decide how to reach the next stop, with leaders always present.
Registration
Fill in the online form. They then confirm there is a place and send payment details, and payment completes registration. All three sessions were open when we checked on October 29, 2026. Each AXC session takes up to 30 children. The two January 25 to 29 sessions run the same week, so a child can join only one of them; the two-day camp can be added to either. Good to know
Grades are the grade your child is in when you register.
AXC: check-in 8:00 to 9:00, activities 9:00 to 17:00. Optional late care until 18:30 in the NTUE student canteen costs NT$600 for the 2-day camp or NT$1,500 for the 5-day camp; children can bring money and staff help them buy dinner.
Rail adventure: meet at Taipei Main Station 8:00 to 9:00 and finish there at 16:30. There is about 1 leader for every 6 to 8 children, and the trip needs 24 children to go ahead. The Ruifang lodging will be announced later; ask on LINE if you need to know before you book.
NT$800 off each extra session for the same child in the same season.
Refunds: 95% if you cancel 41 or more days before, then 90%, 80% and 70% as the date gets closer, 50% the day before, and nothing on the day. The site footer names Pomona Tours Ltd. (波莫納旅行社), a licensed travel agency, and refunds also follow the travel contract.
