Overview
Best Science (倍思科學實驗室) runs STEAM day camps for elementary-age children at schools and venues from Keelung and Yilan to Taichung. Its 2027 winter camps are published, and registration opened on September 23, 2026.
Winter 2027 runs in three weeks, and each camp can be booked on its own. Week 1 (Jan 21 to 22) offers two-day camps on electronics and light, or on beetles and insects. Week 2 (Jan 25 to 29) offers five-day camps: Mecha Rise robot building, SHA-PA drones for beginners, or Drone PLUS flight-control coding for grades 4 to 8. Week 3 (Feb 1 to 3) offers three-day camps on microscopes and tiny life, or on rockets and space.
Days run 9:00 to 16:30 with lunch, and children take some kits and projects home. Most camps are for grades 1 to 6 or 1 to 7; check the grade range on each camp page.
Registration
Register online only (no phone or walk-in sign-ups); you need a Best Science member account. Registration stays open until a camp is full. Early bird pricing is 20% off, for example NT$6,128 instead of NT$7,660 for a five-day camp; the page did not give an end date for the early bird. Pay by card or ATM transfer within 3 days.
