Every Taiwanese adult has a CYC story. The China Youth Corps is the legacy institution of Taiwanese summer camps, a nationwide operation running a catalog that no private operator can match in scale: mountain adventure school in Miaoli, beach programs in Kenting, round-island Formosa trips, and dozens of themed programs in between, running July 1 through August 24 in weekly and 3-day cohorts.
The value equation is the draw. Published pricing runs NT$6,045 to NT$13,950 depending on the program tier, which buys multi-day, often residential experiences at prices the premium market can't approach. Programs span grade 3 through college age, with real depth in the teen years where most operators go quiet.
Set expectations accordingly: this is mass-market Chinese-language camping with big cohorts and institutional logistics, not boutique programming. For local and fluently bilingual kids, it's the price-performance benchmark everything else gets measured against.
