Taipei Zoo (臺北市立動物園) in Wenshan District posts its programs for children on the education activities list of its website. When we checked that list on October 15, 2026, it did not show a summer 2026 camp notice, and no 2027 summer or winter camp had been announced.
What the list did show in 2026 was a food and farming series (食農教育) at the zoo's Children's Zoo and education center. Three half-day courses run from March to November 2026, 8:45 to 12:00: one for grades 3 to 6, one for grade 4 and up or adults, and a parent-child course for children from the last year of kindergarten to grade 3. The full three-session course cost NT$1,500 per person (NT$3,000 for a parent-child pair).
Two single farm sessions were still ahead when we checked: taro harvest on November 7 (parent-child, last year of kindergarten to grade 3) and water bamboo harvest on November 15 (grade 4 and up, or adults). Each costs NT$600 per person. Registration opened October 7 at 10:00 and closes 5 days before each session or when full. Places are few: 4 people in total for the taro harvest (counted per person, so parents in each parent-child pair count too) and 14 for the water bamboo harvest.
