LTL is the flexible option in the inbound Mandarin market. Where the university programs lock you into three-week or eight-week blocks, LTL runs rolling weekly enrollment across roughly ten weeks of summer, book one week or the whole season, whatever your travel plans allow.
The daily rhythm: four hours of Mandarin in small groups in the morning, group lunch at a different local restaurant each day, then guided afternoon excursions around Taipei, temples, markets, museums, where the kids actually use what they learned that morning. Saturdays are full-day trips; Sundays are free.
The genuinely differentiating piece is accommodation. LTL arranges homestays with local families or a supervised residence, which turns a day camp into true immersion. For overseas parents who can't spend the whole summer in Taiwan themselves, this is one of the few turnkey options, and parents who do come along can take adult classes at the same school.
