The Chinese Language Education Center at National Taipei University of Education (國立臺北教育大學華語文中心) runs Mandarin camps for overseas children and teens aged 6 to 15. Camps are held at NTUE in Da'an, Taipei, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:30, and combine Mandarin classes with Taiwanese culture and field trips.
Registration is open for the 2027 Winter Camp, December 28, 2026 to January 8, 2027, with no class on January 1. The regular fee is NT$36,000, or NT$34,000 if you register before October 31, 2026. The camp brochure says registration stays open until the camp is full.
In summer 2026 the center ran two 3-week sessions, June 22 to July 10 and July 20 to August 7, at NT$47,000 (NT$43,000 early bird before February 28). Registration for summer 2026 is closed, and summer 2027 details were not published when we checked on October 15, 2026.

Good to know
On the first day children take a placement test and are grouped by level or age, about 8 to 12 per class, whether or not they have studied Mandarin before.
The fee covers lunch, snacks, culture activity materials, field-trip transport and tickets, and travel accident insurance on camp days.
No lodging is provided; for safety the center suggests children stay with parents or relatives.
Drop-off from 8:50 and pick-up by 15:40. Parents cannot sit in on classes or join field trips.
Children can leave a session early but cannot join midway. Each child receives a certificate at the end.
