Ages

Overnight camps, by camp: kindergarten final year (大班) to grade 2, grades 1 to 7, or grades 2 to 7. Day camp: kindergarten middle class (中班) to grade 6, ages 4 to 12

Format

Overnight camps (children need basic self-care): 2 days, 1 night at a leisure farm in Yilan; 3 days, 2 nights in camping cabins in Miaoli; or a 5-day, 4-night rail trip through Chiayi, Tainan and Kaohsiung. Price includes travel from the meeting points (train tickets on the rail trip), lodging, meals and insurance

Regular, then early bird if registered before Nov 20: Yilan 2-day NT$5,200 (NT$4,450); Miaoli 3-day NT$7,800 (NT$6,900) and NT$7,050 (NT$6,200); rail trip NT$16,800 (NT$14,600). Returning campers get NT$200 off; the rail trip has its own returning-camper price

梅花湖休閒農場 (Dongshan, Yilan) and 小份美營地 (Miaoli). Meeting points: Taipei Main Station, plus Zhunan or Hsinchu Station for some camps

Registration

Overnight camps through the sign-up links on KEEPLAYING's camp pages. The Tatung University day camp is run and registered by the university's extension division

Some winter camp pages still carry summer wording (for example 升二 grade labels, and a list heading that says summer camp), so confirm the details with KEEPLAYING.

When

Jan 21 to 22, Jan 25 to 29 and Feb 1 to 3, 2027. Each of the 12 camps runs one of these sessions

Ages

Grades 1 to 6; some camps are for grades 1 to 4, grades 2 to 6 or grades 3 to 6 only

Format

Two overnight camps: 2 days, 1 night staying at 頭城農場 (Toucheng, Yilan), and 3 days, 2 nights staying at 東勢林場楓香山莊. The other ten are day camps of 2, 3 or 5 days on farms, food, insects, the ocean, science, baking and outdoor skills, most with bus trips to farms and nature sites

Hours

Varies by camp, and not every page gives times. The 大地廚房 camps meet 8:00 to 8:20, leave at 8:30 and are back 17:00 to 17:30. The overnight camps meet at 8:30 (Yilan) or 7:30 (Miaoli and Taichung)

Price

Day camps NT$3,500 (2-day baking) to NT$13,180 (5 days); overnight camps NT$8,820 (2 days) and NT$12,920 (3 days). Returning campers get NT$200 off, or NT$600 off the overnight camps. No early-bird price is listed for winter 2027

Where

Day camps meet at 螢橋國中 (Zhongzheng, Taipei) or in front of the National Theater at 中正紀念堂, Taipei. Bus trips go to sites in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, New Taipei and Yilan. The overnight camps go to Toucheng (Yilan) and to forests in Miaoli and Taichung

Registration

Expected to open Nov 2, 2026 at 20:00, online only through the association's own website, with a member account (up to 5 children per account). Only payment secures a place; each session stops taking sign-ups 5 days before it starts, and there is no waitlist

The association decides by Dec 25 which winter sessions run; for a cancelled session it offers a move to another session or a full refund. Some 2027 pages still carry wording from other camps (for example 夏令營, or 為期五天 on the 2- and 3-day baking camps), so confirm details with the association.
