Little Craftsmen Village is a five-day crafts day camp held at the National Center for Traditional Arts, Yilan Park, for children aged 8 to 12 who are interested in traditional arts and crafts. In 2026, children spent the week as junior craftspeople around the park.
In summer 2026 the camp ran once, Monday July 20 to Friday July 24, from 9:10 am to 5:00 pm each day, with no overnight stay. The week mixed heritage walks through the park's temple, ancestral hall and courtyard house with food and farming, a detective game and a performing arts session built around the year's Monkey King show. Craft sessions covered woodworking, kesi silk tapestry weaving, Indigenous crafts, metalwork, dough figurines and traditional toys.
It suits families who want a hands-on week of traditional crafts rather than a sports or academic camp. The 2027 dates were not published when we checked on October 15, 2026.
Registration
In summer 2026 the fee was NT$9,999 per child, or NT$8,800 with the early-bird rate until May 31, and children who had attended the park foundation's summer camp before got another NT$500 off. Sign-up was online and stayed open until two weeks before the start or until the camp was full. The 2027 camp and its sign-up were not published when checked on October 15, 2026.

Good to know
Summer 2026 was a single five-day session, July 20 to 24, already over. 2027 dates were not published when checked on October 15, 2026.
Day camp only: 9:10 am to 5:00 pm, no overnight stay.
Held inside the National Center for Traditional Arts, Yilan Park, in Wujie Township.
The camp page sits on the Yilan Park website, whose footer names the PX Sunmake culture and arts foundation (全聯善美的文化藝術基金會) as the park's operator, so the camp is run by that foundation rather than by the National Center for Traditional Arts directly.
Meals and snacks were not confirmed on the 2026 camp page, so ask the operator what to pack.
The camp page is in Chinese and does not say which language sessions are taught in.
